Photographer and radio presenter
I started my working life way back in the 1960's with as an apprentice fitter and turner in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
It soon became obvious that I was soon going become bored looking at one of the very new computers brought in to control my lathe so after twisting my mums arm I swore an oath to serve my country in the Royal Air Force.
22 years later, after learning all sorts of things including photography, broadcasting and how to ride a motorbike, I left the RAF but continued in the military aviation business until I retired.
I now occupy myself by photographing aircraft, presenting several programmes on my local community radio station, supporting the International Bomber Command Centre and riding my motorcycle
